How to use?

It is advised that you whiten for 2 weeks for between 30-90 minutes a day. For the best effect consecutive days are advised however some people do decide occasionally to break up the days to keep sensitivity at bay. Before whitening brush your teeth thoroughly and ensure they are spotless and no debris is left in the mouth. Only a very small amount of Poladay is required and your dentist will direct you as to the quantity to use. Ensure the trays are secure over the teeth while in the mouth.

Sensitivity

Dealing with sensitivity while whitening is a must. Brushing with a sensitive toothpaste before commencing treatment and while whitening is very beneficial. Teeth should be brushed before and after whitening with a toothpaste such as Colgate pro relief or Sensodyne rapid relief.

If sensitivity worsens sensitive gels such as the kin brand are very useful in reducing sensitivity – https://www.kin.es/en/producto/sensikin-tooth-gel/

Useful tip – after whitening clean your teeth and trays and place a small amount of sensitive toothpaste in the custom trays and re-seat for 10 minutes. This will hold the sensitive toothpaste against the sensitive areas and reduce sensitivity at the next session.
