Our Team

Having completed dentistry in UCC in 2009 Seamus went on to practice in Edinburgh, Falkirk and Essex before settling back home in Cork. Ever committed to continuing professional development Seamus has completed many courses in both the UK and Ireland.

Neil qualified from UCC in 2012 and spent 5 years working in Scotland, followed by two years working in private practice in Australia. Neil enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a focus on patient comfort, and regularly attends courses to continue to upskill to the best modern standards.

T.J. qualified from UCC in 2024. He was the recipient of many undergraduate awards and gained experience in all areas of general dentistry. He recently represented Ireland at the Clinical Skills Competition held at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

Jackie qualified with honours in dental hygiene from UCC in 2000 and has a wealth of experience in dealing with patients across a wide spectrum of dental needs.

Shauna started with the practice in 2012 and went on to qualify as a dental nurse from UCC in 2014. Shauna who works with the practice full time runs the reception area and also nurses. Shauna is always on hand to help patients with queries and concerns.

Melissa Flynn is the newest member of the Shandon Dental team starting in the practice in early 2020.

Ciara joined the Shandon Dental team at the start of 2024 bringing with her a vast wealth of experience. Ciara is accomplished in working directly with children making her a great asset to our family practice.
