Shandon Dental would like to welcome a new dentist to the practice, Dr Neil Tully. Having worked around the globe as well as in Ireland we are keenly aware that Neil will slot right into our practice. Shandon Dental is committed to the highest standards of dental care and we believe that Neil will fit in with our ethos.
Professional Background
Neil qualified as a dentist from UCC in 2012 before going on to do Vocational Training in Scotland. Following this he went on to work in two practice in Edinburgh where he continued to develop his dental skills. Treating patients on the NHS and privately gave Neil a wide spectrum of dental experience. Here he also gained invaluable experience in dealing with patients of varying dental need. Following his time in Edinburgh Neil went on to work in Australia for a couple of years. When home came calling and Neil returned and has been since working in general practice in Ireland.

Professional Development
Seeing patients from all walks of life throughout his career Neil has found it essential to keep his skill level high. He keeps abreast of all modern techniques involved in treating patients with all levels of need. Therefore in 2017 Neil completed a masterclass in Aesthetic Dentistry in the Eastman Dental Institute in London. This positions Neil very well to deal with any aesthetic concern’s that a patient may have.
Life outside work as a dentist
Away from dentistry Neil is an avid football fan and player having received national trails at underage level. In the past few years, he has gone on to achieve the first 3 levels of SFA coaching levels. Away from sport Neil is a keen reader and writer having done courses in creative writing.
